About me…

My wife and I live in Cranston, Rhode Island. We moved there from Wilmington, N.C. in October, 2025.

I consider myself to be a Multipotentialite. A multipotentialite is someone with many interests and creative pursuits who displays aptitudes across multiple disciplines. For example: I am an artist, play the ukulele, ride bikes with no hands, stand up paddleboard and much more. You can learn about some of my many varied interests and skills by visiting this page.

I was Media Coordinator at Laney High School  for 10 years. I retired from N.C. Public Schools effective July 1st, 2023.

Prior to that I was the Media Coordinator at Independence High School in Charlotte, N.C. for eight years.

In addition, I taught computers in a high poverty elementary school in Charleston for 3 years and was Media Coordinator in a very diverse elementary school in Charlotte for a year.

In each position I supported the total school program including academic departments, fine arts, athletics, HOSA, FFA, etc. in anyway that I can.

I am certified to be a Media Coordinator, to teach ESOL/ESL or to teach music.

I have three great grown kids and a wonderful wife. My wife is a NICU nurse practitioner and taught pediatric nursing at a university.

My parents and my sister were all educators. My father was a school superintendent, my mother taught kindergarten and my sister was a media coordinator.
